The Pension Vertnik in the Czech Republic is one of only a few windmills in the world that acts as a fully functioning hotel. The 18th century mill is more like a B&B though with only six rooms available to stay in. Unlike most windmills it’s not out in the country but in a park in the middle of Prague. All rooms are traditionally furnished with prices varying every few months (the most expensive times to visit are the summer and new year periods). With a personal tennis court on the grounds and a restaurant below the mill, it’s a one of kind vacation spot.
